Malmesbury Area Neighbourhood Plan Review 2006-2026. Informal Consultation 13th September 2021 to 24th October 2021

However, in order to keep the Plan up to date, a review of the policies has been carried out.  The Scoping Review document shows how each policy has been considered as to relevance and effectiveness, with some suggested amendments.

We are now seeking your views and invite you to comment on the review and changes. Please be aware that all representations will be publicly available and may also appear on the Town Council website and other forms of media.

Please ensure you include your name, contact details and address and please include your position or title, if you are responding on behalf of an organisation. (Your contact details will only be used in respect of this review and the Neighbourhood Plan process).

If you have no access to a computer and you wish to view the Scoping Review Document or the amendments to the Neighbourhood Plan, a copy can be sent to you on request by calling us on Tel: 01666 822143. Please also email or phone this number is you have any queries.

Please submit any comments you may have no later than Friday 24th October 2021.

Following this consultation, the representations will be considered and responses published along with any further amendments.

MALMESBURY is a vibrant, market town, steeped in history going back to medieval times. Currently home to many famous & popular musical, cultural, and festival events throughout the year, visitors can browse the charming streets with independent retailers, or stop at one of the lively cafes, restaurants, pubs, and bars.

Attractions to visit include the stunning 12th century Malmesbury Abbey, 15th century Market Cross and the Athelstan Museum with a painting of Malmesbury Abbey by JMW Turner. There are also lovely walks along the River Avon.
