‘The Mysterious Tunnels of Malmesbury’ with Alice Beer - Bank Holiday Monday 31st May.

Starting with clues from an old 1956 article about Malmesbury, she will be investigating the local legend of underground tunnels leading to the Abbey and elsewhere. Not to be missed!

Please check out the other contributions to the Town Council’s programme, which are happening both in the town and virtually online. There is something for everyone to enjoy and it’s all FREE! Outside: Saxon Trail for the whole weekend, on 31st May join in with a Morris Dancing workshop or visit the Abbey and St. Aldhelm’s Church for the Flower Festival. Online: From 4.30pm via the Town Council Facebook (just click on the link to view) will be an introduction from the Mayor, overviews of St. Aldhelm and the Saxon Trail and Flower Festival. This will be followed by Local Historian and Author, Tony MacAleavy on the Elmer the Flying Monk and lastly ‘The Mysterious Tunnels of Malmesbury’ .
