Malmesbury Community Day is Back for 2023!

We know that a large number of community groups suffered the loss of volunteers and support during the pandemic and that many have yet to return to pre-pandemic levels of activity, while at the same time dependency on the support that community groups and local charities provide is increasing. In order to support our local groups Malmesbury Town Council is organising a one-day event on Saturday 15th of April so you can raise awareness of what your group does and perhaps recruit new volunteers.

The day will follow a similar structure to the Community Day event of 2020, with activities from 10.00am to 4.00pm in the Town Hall and the Abbey. Participation will be free of charge and MTC will take responsibility for posters and flyers although we would appreciate some help with getting the message out.

If you’d like to be part of this community event, whether it’s so you can showcase your work, let people know what you do and how to contact you, or ask for volunteers and support, then please register your interest by contacting the Town Hall office (email:  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).  You’ll have a chance to attend a virtual meeting for a briefing and to ask any questions you may have.  This will take place on Friday 24th February 2023 at 3.00pm via Zoom.  Zoom details will be sent to you on receipt of registering your interest in taking part.

We hope you can join us on the day.

Vice Chair of Community and Town Promotion Committee
