With the desire to shop local as strong as ever and Christmas on the horizon, Malmesbury Town Team are excited to announce Malmesbury is one of the first towns in the UK to use gift card technology which makes it possible to send a digital gift card in seconds.
Simply visit www.malmesburygiftcard.com and send an e-card to the recipient’s phone as either a text or email. Using the Love Local app, the recipient can add the e-card balance to their digital wallet, and make purchases using Apple Pay or Google Pay, either online or in-store.
The Malmesbury Gift Card gives friends, family and loved ones, the ultimate choice in how to enjoy their present from you and avoids gifts they might not really want or need. Accepted in over 34 shops, restaurants, attractions, salons and service providers in and around Malmesbury, your purchase and gift of a gift card locks in local spend.
The introduction of this new digital gift card in Malmesbury shows you don’t have to be a big city to utilise technology which enhances shop local efforts, and makes convenient digital gifting a reality. These latest initiatives have been implemented by Malmesbury Town Team, a voluntary organisation working in collaboration with the Town Council.
