Mayor Cllr. Kim Power - Mayoral Charities

Mayor Cllr. Kim Power - Mayoral Charities

As my term of Office is coming to a close, I was delighted to present funds raised during my mayoral year, to my three chosen charities.

It’s been a hard time for many financially with the ongoing ‘Cost of Living Crisis’ and so I very much appreciate the support and generosity of those who attended the two events I held - An Evening with Alice Beer and The Mayor’s Ball.  Also, I would like to thank the Malmesbury Town Band who kindly braved winter weather with a performance under the Market Cross to raise funds, and also those others who made donations.

I have been honoured and privileged to be Mayor of this wonderful community for the last year and also grateful that I have been able to help support such deserving local charities.
