The Citizen of the Year Award Ceremony will be held after the Annual Town meeting on Thursday 28th April 2022 at 7.00pm.
The Citizen of the Year Awards are awarded to those who, in the judgement of Malmesbury Town Councillor’s, have made the most significant and sustained contribution to our local community in the past year. The area in which the contribution must have been made is Malmesbury, Milbourne, Cowbridge, Burton Hill, Common Road, Foxley Road and Filands.
The five Malmesbury Citizen of the Year Award Categories are:
- Citizen of the Year (for individuals aged 26 or over)
- Young Citizen of the Year (for individuals aged between 16 and 25)
- Junior Citizen of the Year (for individuals aged under 16)
- Organisation or Group of the Year
- 10 Year Service Volunteer Contribution Certificate
