Thursday 9th July
7pm – Monks Mix - a great selection of music, chat and spoken word with a report from our gardening correspondent Lester + Jacqueline Tong reads us the second instalment of Victorian writer Richard Jefferies with his observations on Malmesbury in the 1860s.
8pm – History podcast Rogues and Rascals, episode 3, with Tony McAleavy. This one is about the drunken exploits of Thomas Hobbes senior, father of the famous philosopher + Jacqueline Tong and Sara Gray bring us some more summer poems
9pm – DJ Jude brings us her fantastic selection of tunes
Friday 10th July
7pm – Monks Mix - a great selection of music + chat including a report from Roaming Reporter Lorna in the Forest of Dean aka our elf in the wood +. find out about the street library with Lisa Tweedie + Episode 3 of Victorian writer Richard Jefferies observations on Malmesbury in the 1860s with the help of Jacqueline Tong
8pm – DJ Colin brings us his DJ Set of amazing Covers!
10pm – Sheer music podcast - One of, if not THE, most recognisable gig-goers in the UK joins us on this week's Sheer Isolation Podcast. Bristol's very own enigma Big Jeff talks about his unintended rise to fame, his two most embarrassing nights in the Exchange, and THAT campaign to rename Colston Hall after him.
Saturday 11th July
7pm- – Monks Mix - we'll have wine tasting with Ben and Mandy from sipologistsocial.com and regular feature Sky at Night with Paul Hill from Awesome Astronomy podcast, along with lots of great music + the final episode of our feature on famous local author Richard Jefferies with his observations on Malmesbury in the 1860s with the help of Jacqueline Tong. + we learn about viruses with Tony Mills who brings us an intriguing new podcast, ‘Tales from the Virus Crypt’. Sue Poolman tells us about the artist Turner and his painting of Malmesbury recently acquired by the museum
9pm – DJ Mark Dowie aka Audio Spanner brings us his unique selection of tunes!
Sunday 12th July
7pm – Malmesbury Sessions DJs Andy, Dave, Brian and Ben Gray chat to local musicians and play some tunes - operated live from London, Cambridge + Colorado.
9pm – DJ Brooklyn Bob all the way from the USA brings us his great set of tunes
All shows are repeated from 3pm the following day and will be on our Listen Again page a couple of days after broadcast
