Business Grants – Apply NOW Don’t Wait for a Letter
Make sure you’ve viewed the Wiltshire Council website to see if your business is eligible for a grant http://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/business-advice-support-covid19 and use the form on this page to apply online NOW don’t wait for a letter.
Small Business Grant Schemes (£10,000)
This scheme provides a one-off grant of £10,000 to businesses in receipt of Small Business Rates Relief (SBRR) and rural rates relief.
Retail and Hospitality Grant Scheme (£25,000)
The Retail and Hospitality Grant Scheme provides businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors with a cash grant of up to £25,000 per property. For businesses in these sectors with a rateable value of under £15,000, they will receive a grant of £10,000. For businesses in these sectors with a rateable value of between £15,001 and £51,000, they will receive a grant of £25,000.
Job Retention Scheme
The online Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme service is now open for you to make a claim. The service is designed to be simple to use. Apply by 22 April to receive money before the end of the month. Important further information: On the recent update recently issued by the government, the main point of difference is you can claim for furloughed employees who were on the payroll on or before 19th March 2020 and where an RTI (Real Time Information) submission notifying payment in respect of that employee to HMRC has been made on or before 19th March 2020.

In Malmesbury, we’re all very proud of our community and the way it pulls together to help those in need. With this in mind, Malmesbury Town Council & local charity HEALS have launched an Emergency Hardship Fund for individuals and families with little or no income who need essential food, household supplies and support.
